Potential Questions and Objections
Don’t automatically assume your prospect is going to have a negative perception of MLM and that you have to defend network marketing. It is best to ask questions in response to their questions so you learn, figure out, where they are coming from.

Multi-level Marketing
In very simple terms, Multi-level Marketing (MLM) is spending more time on making your customers SELL for you rather than BUY from you! It is the art of turning your customers into your trusted brand ambassadors, i.e. your sellers.

Needed: A More Proactive Approach to Enforcement of Laws Against Pyramid Schemes as Applied to MLM’s
One of the insidious features of many MLM’s is that promoters often aggressively harvest the rewards from building their pyramids and disappear before enforcement agencies can catch up with them.

Types of MLM Compensation Systems
A frequent argument of MLM promoters is that while they may agree that there are problems in the MLM industry, each will claim they have solved the problems with their new brand of MLM compensation system, which is supposedly more fair, honest, generous, etc., than all the others.

Naked Pyramid Scheme vs. Product-Based Pyramid Scheme
To distinguish between typical pyramid schemes and those masking as MLM’s, I will introduce two terms that should help clear up the confusion between the two, along with some features which they have in common.

Challenge to the Industry: "Prove Me Wrong"
As feedback began coming in, I began to see patterns displayed by MLM’s that were eerily similar to illegal pyramid schemes.

As a long-time critic of MLM programs, I was curious to know why so many otherwise intelligent and capable persons were involved.

How To Write A Well-Themed MLM Article

How To Write A Well-Themed MLM Article

1. Go to http://labs.google.com/sets

2. Search #1
network marketing
business opportunity
mlm

3. Search #2
mlm
downline
sponsoring

Copy the words you get into a text file.

4. MSWord>Table>Insert>Table
• Choose 1 column, 90 rows
• Copy & paste your text file word list into the table.
• Highlight the list
• Table>Sort>OK = alphabetical list

5. Go thru & eliminate
a. duplicates
b. words that are obvious misfits

6. Copy & paste to text file - you wind up with maybe 75 theme words.

7. Go to http://EzineArticles.com. Scroll down to the box on the left that says "Search EzineArticles".

8. Search for:
MLM

9. Find a title that's interesting to you. Click on the title.

10. When the article comes up, check the word count - it's in the heading. The example I chose this time is 1360 words, which means it could be broken down into several articles. Target the article you write to be about 275-325 words.

11. Choose 1 section of this article to be the model for your own article.

12. Cut & paste the section you chose into MS Word, where you can check the word count (Tools>Word Count). This section has 159 words ... you can rework it to add a few sentences, and then you'll also add theme words, winding up with another 100-130 words in the article. So this section will work.

13. You want a keyword phrase to focus your article on - this is your target phrase to get listed for in Google. Go to

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

and search one of the theme words from your list.

14. Click the column title "Global Monthly Search Volume".

15. From the "Match Type" dropdown menu, choose "Exact".

16. You'll wind up with up to 200 results. Choose a phrase with fewer than 5000 monthly searches ... and 3 or 4 words in the phrase. THAT is your keyword phrase for this article.

17. Read your section, and write a title. Start your title with this keyword phrase, and then finish the title with a reference to what's in your article. You want to offer a benefit and/or create curiousity. Example:

"MLM Downline Builder - Where People Disagree, You Can Sponsor More Of Them"

18. You're ready to do the article. Start with the first sentence. Read it, and then write down your reaction to OR rewording of this sentence. Do the same with each sentence in the section you chose. Often a personal experience or story will come to mind as you write. Put it in.

19. Read over what you have written. Does it flow naturally from one sentence to the next? Does it make sense? If not, edit it so it does. This will not take much editing, because you began with a very good framework and then you just followed the bread crumbs to the end of your article.

20. Look at your list of theme words from steps 1-6:

advertising
affiliate
agel
base
based
brunch club
business
business consulting
business opportunity
business plan
business service
cash
cashflow
commissions
consultant
discount
downline
dream
ebusiness
employment
enterprises
entrepreneur
free
health
home business
home buyers
home based business
income
internet business
internet marketing

mlm training

multilevelmarketing
myworldplus
network
network marketing
networking
nutrition
online business
opportunity
powerline
public relations
small business
sponsoring
success
supplements
training
travel
wealth
work

21. Studies show that we get best results when our article includes 17%-20% theme words. Your article so far probably has about 20 theme words in it. If it's eventually a 300-word article, it will need 60 total theme words to reach 20%. So that means you need to add another 40 words from this list. Yes, some can be repeated. But you want as wide a variety as possible.

22. So you want to add 40 words. It's easy to do, because all the words on your list are related to your subject. So begin with sentence 1, and look at your theme word list, and see if you can logically change the sentence to add/insert 2-3 more words. Keep track of the # of words you add. Once you finish, if you've added 30 words, then see if you can add a sentence here and there to make up the other 10 words.

23. Read thru your article again. Does it flow? Does it make sense? Make any adjustment necessary.

24. Check your title once more. Does it match your article? If so ...

25. Publish your article on your blog or wherever else you want to publish it.
